Haas Elementary 1st and 2nd graders had a wonderful experience yesterday as they attended a performance by the Genesee High School Band. It was so nice to witness the talent and skill that our high schoolers have, under the direction of Ms. Boaz. The band captivated our young audience from start to finish. Our students were not only entertained, but also inspired by the professionalism and artistry displayed by the older students. This serves as wonderful encouragement for our young learners to continue pursuing their musical interests and aspirations. Their performance helped to foster a deeper appreciation for the joy and power of music.
Save the Date for May 8th, when the Genesee Jr./Sr. High School music program will present a showcase with many of the pieces the students heard today. The program will take place at 7:00 p.m.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
This is a friendly reminder regarding our elementary bus drop-off procedures. It is essential that parents/guardians of kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade students are present and visible at the bus stop for their child(ren) to be released off the bus.
For the safety of our students, if parents/guardians are not at the bus stop, students will not be allowed to get off the bus and will be returned to the school.
Your cooperation in adhering to this protocol is vital in ensuring the safety and well-being of all our students.

School Social Workers serve as integral members of a community's education team, playing a central role in creating a positive environment at schools. They are especially skilled in identifying and providing services to students who face serious challenges to school success, including poverty, special needs, discrimination, abuse, addiction, bullying, loss of a loved one, depression, and other barriers to learning. School Social Work Week is March 3-9, 2024. Join us as we celebrate our school Social Workers, Nelson Clark at Haas Elementary, and Natasha Kubiak at Genesee Jr/Sr High School as well as all school social workers across the nation. We appreciate their work in helping students achieve academic success!
