Families, just a quick note to help everyone plan ahead!
We DO have school on Monday and Tuesday next week, and we look forward to seeing all of our Wolves here to finish out the week strong before the holiday. 💪🐺
There will be NO SCHOOL Wednesday, November 26 through Friday, November 28 for Thanksgiving Break. School will resume on Monday, December 1.

🏐 Genesee Volleyball Clinic – Join the Fun! 🐺💜
We’re excited to share that Genesee Volleyball is hosting a clinic for students in grades K–6 on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 1:00–2:30 PM in the Genesee High School Gym.
The cost is $5 per child, and this is a great opportunity for our young Wolves to learn new skills, stay active, and have fun with friends!
This event will occur monthly, and future dates will be posted on the Genesee Wolves Volleyball Facebook Page.
We hope to see lots of our Wolves there! 💚🐾

We are excited to participate in the annual Genesee Schools Holiday Food Drive from November 3rd through November 14th. This is a wonderful opportunity for our Wolves to help make a difference right here in our community.
We are hoping to collect 100 of each of the following items:
8 oz instant mashed potatoes (family size)
19 oz Kool-Aid or lemonade powder
12 oz turkey gravy (cans or jars)
12-count dinner rolls (frozen or fresh)
14.5 oz can of green beans
14.5 oz can of corn
6 oz box of stuffing mix
Macaroni and cheese
All donations can be sent to school with your child or dropped off in the main office.
These items will be distributed to families in need throughout the holiday season.

Our Book Fair is happening this week at Haas Elementary!
This year, students have a new way to create their Book Fair Wish List — they’ll receive a printed “receipt” that shows the actual prices (including tax) for the books they’d like to purchase. You’ll notice a “W” on the receipt to indicate it’s a wish list, not a purchase.
Students may bring money to shop at the Book Fair during the week.
Families may only come in to shop with their child if this is pre-approved with the teacher, so classroom instruction is not interrupted.
The Book Fair will also be open during Parent-Teacher Conferences from 1:30–5:30 PM, which is the most ideal time to shop together and avoid missing class time.

Haas Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place Thursday, November 6 from 1:30–6:00 PM.
Please be sure to schedule your conference in advance with your child’s teacher using the sign-up they sent home.

Both Thursday, November 6 and Friday, November 7 are half days for all Haas Elementary students, with dismissal at 11:45 AM.
