📢 Annual Title I Parent Meeting

Haas Elementary families are invited to join us for our Annual Title I Parent Meeting on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 8:00–9:00 a.m. in Room 324.
Please wait to enter the school through the elementary office until 8am, we will begin the meeting shortly after.

🎒👟 Haas Lost & Found is Exploding! 👟🎒 Our Lost & Found is growing by the day—Ms. Renee has even started hanging things up to make it easier for students to spot (it’s like a boutique of jackets and lunchboxes!). 🧥🍱 The Lost & Found is in our elementary vestibule—families, please stop in and check it out. Students are also encouraged to swing by during the day to reclaim their missing treasures before we’re buried under a mountain of hoodies. 😅

🎉🐺 Congratulations to our 4th Grade Wolves! 🐺🎉

They had the highest attendance last week with an incredible 96.4%! 💚👏

We’re also celebrating Haas Elementary for earning the highest overall attendance rate in the entire district! 🙌 Way to go, Wolves!

Just a quick reminder that Midland Catalog PTO Fundraiser orders are due today. If your student forgot to bring theirs in, no worries—they may still return them tomorrow.

This morning, several cars double-lined in the drop-off lane, and as a result, our staff were unable to enter the parking lot and get to work on time. Please remember: the RIGHT lane is for drop-off and pick-up. The LEFT lane must remain open at all times so staff can enter the lot. When the left lane is blocked, it directly delays staff from being in classrooms with your children. We need everyone’s cooperation to keep arrival running safely and smoothly. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.

🎲🧩 Help Us Build Our Inside Recess Fun! 🧩🎲

From time to time—on rainy days or when the temperature drops below 10°—our Wolves spend recess indoors. On those occasions, we want to make sure they still have plenty of fun, creative, and engaging options to enjoy!

We are seeking donations of items such as board games, card games, building blocks, puzzles, art supplies, and more. These are just a few ideas—anything that helps kids play, create, and connect with friends during inside recess will be a wonderful addition. 💚

📍 Donations may be dropped off in the Haas Elementary office.

Haas Friendly Reminder 🐾 Our parking lot is one way during arrival & dismissal times, and if you are participating in morning drop-off, please remember to stay to the far right. This allows the lane on the left to remain open for staff to enter the parking lot. Yesterday, several staff members were unable to get in on time due to cars blocking the left lane. Thank you so much for your consideration and cooperation in keeping drop-off running smoothly for everyone! 💚

Good morning, Haas Families,

We’ve noticed some safety concerns during morning drop-off that we need your help with. 🚗✨

👉 Families should remain in the car rider line to drop off students in the morning. This keeps traffic moving safely and ensures all students can enter the building without unnecessary delays.

👉 If you are parking because you have a Head Start or GSRP student, please use the Junior High/High School parking lot and walk down to the door to check them in.

When families park in the elementary lot and leave before 8:00 AM, it stops the entire line from moving, creating backups for those following the correct procedure. Even simply walking across the lot causes cars to stop, and we have already had incidents this year where students have run across while cars were trying to leave. This is extremely unsafe. 🚫

✅ The safest and smoothest way for students to arrive each morning is for families to stay in their car and follow the drop-off line. Thank you for helping us keep all of our Wolves safe and for keeping our mornings running smoothly! 💚🐾
